Free Pattern Download :: Quilty Pleasures
I came across a quilting book I picked up at the Ontario Crafts Council book sale last year, and it’s an endless source of inspiration. I love the concept of folk art — among many things, it’s often about expressing cultural identity, telling a story, serving a utilitarian purpose or simply adding decoration to make something prettier. It’s art for the people. And naturally, it’s the perfect way to introduce the first of my FREE monthly pattern giveaways!
The pattern above is inspired by the often triangular-based grid systems used to create traditional folk quilts and it’s all yours to use, with the following things in mind:
> The file includes a high res JPG and vector artwork with repeats.
> Please read the terms provided in the download or read the more succinct Creative Commons Agreement here. It basically says that the pattern is intended for non-commercial use.
Download it here, and enjoy! Go on and use it to help make the world a prettier place. I’ve love to see what you do with it!
Happy Monday!
