Wanderlust

Wanderlust is a concept I can relate to — the strong desire for or impulse to wander or travel and explore the world. So I was excited to see some of the trend reports that I’ve had access to with the surface design course I’m taking (and am *seriously* behind on…!!), that it’s a trend that we’re sure to see in the next few seasons. Wanderlust, and the concept of great explorers, the great outdoors and escaping to the wilderness. I recently went on a camping trip to Arrowhead Lake and it reminded me of just how beautiful Ontario is… something that I get to explore too much living in the city. Here is a series of patterns that are inspired by it, and the concept of escaping to the wilderness.
