I am thrilled to announce my collaboration with luxury gift wrap company, Impression Originale. Based in France, their papers are actually made in France and are beautifully produced, with hits of gorgeous metallic inks. Subtle sophistication at its best. The papers are available through their website (and they ship globally!), as well as hand-picked retailers around France, including the Centre de Pompidou in Paris!
PRETTY PROTEST SIGNS
As a woman, and I suppose just generally in my life, I’ve often felt underestimated. I've been belittled or overshadowed based on my gender, or misjudged because I choose quiet over loud. It’s been a major source of frustration. But inside of most of us, there is so much strength and power, and the awareness that we are capable of far more than we’ve been given credit for. There are lions inside of many of us. So this quote resonates with me.
These are strange times in the political landscape — it baffles me that women’s rights, or anyone’s rights, are being challenged. The upside is that I can feel the temperature rising among people like myself who haven’t been too politically involved in the past. A theme of ‘waking up’ and needing to get involved, and that’s inspiring and full of hope. Activism is in the air.
If you’re going to the Women’s March this weekend, please feel free to download this pretty protest sign I created for it. And if you’re *not* going to the March but are feeling the spirit of it in your heart, I’ve created it in a few sizes that are good for framing, so you can put it in your space. I hope it reminds you of the power you hold within you and encourages you to stay engaged with fighting the good fight.
xoxo,
Elizabeth

New Holiday Collection for Canvas!
If you grew up in Canada, you grew up going to Canadian Tire. To those that aren’t from Canada, let me say this: if I were to create a slogan for Canadian Tire, it would be ‘this place isn’t really about tires’. Yes, they sell tires, but it was a place we’d go often for all sorts of things you need for the house, for the garden, for camping, for all sorts of things in life. And the best part was that at the end of every transaction, you’d get Canadian Tire money — it’s kinda like monopoly money, that you gets to spend at the store. As a kid, it was such a treat when your mum would let you keep it for future purchases.
And over the past few years, they’ve introduced a new and design-savvy sub-brand, called Canvas. And recently, I had the great pleasure of developing my own holiday collection for them! Most of my collaborations happen in the US and abroad, so it was a really special experience designing something so close to home. And I’m thrilled with how it turned out. The collection includes gift wrap, as well as beautifully embroidered pillows, stockings and a tree skirt, and is now available in stores across Canada. If you live in Canada, check the links below to view them online and hopefully they’ll have them at store near you!
