Personalized Holiday Cards with Mixbook

I had so much fun designing this holiday collection for Mixbook! When I’m approaching a project, I design the things I want to see out in the world — the things I’d want to use or wish I could see when searching for that kind of product. I often don’t resonate with lots of the holiday stuff I see in the marketplace… so I wanted to create some holiday cards that folks like me might like to use. Which is why I used my own images, of me and mine. I think the results are modern, fun, cheerful and ready for you to make your own (including gorgeous foil options). Plus, their design tool is sooo easy to use! Just add your own pics and text, and voila, all done. I also have baby books and birth announcements there if you’re in the market. Wishing everyone a happy holiday season!

New Filters and Stickers for Instagram

So excited to share my new… Instagram filters and stickers! There are 6 filters to choose from, and 6 sparkly new stickers! You can use the filters for selfie pics or videos. Just go to my profile + click on the 3 sparkles and try them out! To use the stickers and add some fun to your stories, just search for ‘Elizabeth Olwen’ when you’re searching for gifs to use and voilá! Tag me if you remember, I would love to see! Have funnnnnnn

Wallpaper murals for Santo Infante

Earlier this month, I said to myself, “that’s it — you have to start stop saying yes to things for a while”. My designlife had been pretty full but and gorgeously rich, more busy (and abundant) than it’d felt in a long while. I was loving every minute of it, but was running out of steam. And the next day, I got a message from my friends at Santo Infante, asking if I wanted to participate in this year’s Casa Aberta. And without a hair of hesitation, I responded a big giant instinctual YES! The project is a pop-up apartment, a month-long open house in Lisbon showcasing Portuguese design (it’s so special) and I was invited to team up with Richimi, a Portuguese wallpaper company, to design some artwork for the walls! I designed the modular wallpaper mural above (the panels are mix-and-match!) and a mural for inside the shower, printed on their waterproof wallpaper (I had no idea that was a thing!). I’m so glad I said yes! I’m so honoured to be a part of this amazing project, to feel like an adopted Portuguesa, and I’m so proud of how everything turned out. Casa Aberta is on now until December 18, 2022. It’s free to visit and sure to inspire (and it has a great gift shop too!). Find out more about the project on their website or instagram!
