the best field trip yet

Field Trip is an annual show that I organize with a bunch of super talented artists, and this past May was our third event. And might I just say, I think it was the best yet. We had an amazing turnout and it was the perfect manifestation of all of the months we spent working closely together to bring it to life. I absolutely adore my Field Trip Family. rocking animals for crate + kids

Absolute – dream – project! When I got the brief for this project from Crate + Kids, it was one of those moments where I was overwhelmed with how lucky I am to do what I do. If you told my child self that THIS is what I would get to work on as an adult, I don’t know if I would have believed you. But lo and behold, I introduce these fantastic beauties — my Rocking Hippo and Rocking Whale, available through their online shop!

fab fit and very fun

Last year I had the pleasure of designing these boxes for subscription-based lifestyle and beauty company, Fab Fit Fun. Subscribers get a seasonal box delivered to their doorstep, full of the latest and greatest goodies from different companies and you never know what surprises will be inside. Each box is also commissioned out to a different artist, and I was lucky enough to be able to work on the 2018 Winter Box. They saw some of my art-deco inspired work and decided we'd go in that direction and I'm so glad they did. Often, with my pattern work, the pattern is applied to an object — but for this, I designed for this box, from start to finish, considering all the sides and angles, interiors and how it would open up. A really fun and rewarding experience! Many thanks to Fab Fit Fun for a great collaboration — it's something I'm so proud of.
